Happy Holidays

I created my own wrapping paper by drawing a snowman and then converting it to a pattern. Once I made it a repeating pattern my box was ready to be wrapped! The distort tool allowed me to edit and change the shape and size of the wrapping paper to fit it to the box. This was really cool because it made it look like a gift. I added a tree to add to the effect. Happy Holidays!

Wangechi Mutu

Above is a collage, which is a shot from the animated video called The End of eating Everything by Wangechi Mutu. This picture is very powerful and I was very drawn in by the darkness of the picture as well as the girl herself. I watched the video and found it very different but in a good way. The movement of the girl along with the birds flying back and forth make this piece very interesting.
